On Sunday mornings the kids meet in the fellowship hall on arrival. Typically we serve them a small breakfast.
At about 10:00 am we break into 2 age-appropriate groups where we do activities like a Bible lesson, song time, a little bit of play time, and typically pray with the kids.
At 10:55 am we head across the street to the main building and wait in the foyer until parents are out of their classes and pick them up to head to the worship service.
On Wednesday nights during the school year we have both a meal and AWANA. The meal is in the fellowship hall starting at 6 pm. The cost is $3 per person with a maximum of $15 per family. The first Wednesday night meal for the fall is September 5th.
Eat fast, because AWANA starts at 6:30pm in the main building sanctuary. Every week the members of Tolar Baptist stack and put away half the chairs from the Sunday morning service so that on Wednesday nights the kids can use and enjoy the best space we have available. A large AWANA game circle is revealed when the chairs are removed and an incredible space for kids is opened up.
AWANA starts at 6:30pm and runs until 8pm. Parents are welcome to stay the entire time with their kiddos, or you can leave once you've checked your children in at the door. Typically the last 10 or 15 minutes of the night is reserved for handing out awards to kids who have progressed in their AWANA handbook. We would encourage you to be there to support them!
AWANA resumes January 15th, 2020
